ASHTON MARINE LLC

A Safe Workplace to Work

Where other sources are seeking sensational headlines utilizing descriptive adjectives, we are getting the job done, working safely at our job site. At Ashton Marine LLC, safety is paramount.

Although Business Publications has an article that reads OSHA: Harvey based Ashton Marine job site is deadly, this type of wording does not accurately portray safety and health of employees prior to or after the results of the January 19,2006 on-site inspection by OSHA Representatives.

( REFER TO ON-SITE SAFETY AND HEALTH STATISTICS WITHIN THIS DOCUMMENT)

In April of 2006, Ashton Marine LLC, hired a retired OSHA, Assistant Area Director (safety) to correct and implement a safety and health program that would assure compliance with the requirements of the shipyard standards.

At Ashton Marine LLC, our employees are considered our most important asset and their safety and health are of prime importance to every level of management.

The aforementioned injury and illness data derived from OSHA required statistical records from 2004 thru August 2009 DOES NOT indicate in any way, that Ashton Marine LLC, is a job site that merits the use of the term “Deadly”. The very nature of work within a shipyard environment does present many challenges for supervision and upper management, however, we at Ashton Marine LLC, strive to create an atmosphere that allows employees to realize that safety and health, to a large extent, primarily originates from within their personal actions while accomplishing work tasks.

It is important to note that none of the “violations” in OSHA’s findings resulted in any incident or injury to an Ashton Marine, employee.
